Last week there was a big traffic accident that took lives of 9 innocent pedestrians and injured 3 more. On Sunday,  January 22nd 2012, a black Xenia suddenly crashed into Tugu Tani. The car crashed into pedestrian group who had just returned from a trip to the National Monument and a set of youngsters who had just finished playing indoor soccer. 9 people was killed on sight and 3 met his maker on his way to the hospital.

The deadly accident took place when Afriyani Susanti (29 year old) recklessly drove her minivan, a Xenia with the police number B 2479 XI, speeding at 70 kilometer per hour. The car was on the way to Tugu Tani when later it hit some pedestrians on the sidewalk. nine pedestrians died in instant, the youngest victims as young as 2.5 year old.
